About CSA

Established in 2015, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) seeks to keep Singapore’s cyberspace safe and secure to underpin our Nation Security, power a Digital Economy and protect our Digital Way of Life. It maintains an oversight of national cybersecurity functions and works with sector leads to protect Singapore’s Critical Information Infrastructure. CSA also engages with various stakeholders to heighten cyber security awareness, build a vibrant cybersecurity ecosystem supported by a robust workforce, pursue international partnerships and drive regional cybersecurity capacity building programmes. What You Will Be Working On

Responsibilities

You will manage CSA's facilities as part of a team. This includes:



  • Lead the design, operation, and optimization of mechanical systems for both above- and underground office spaces.
  • Manage and maintain mechanical plant equipment to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to improve energy efficiency and system lifespan.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and facilities personnel, to ensure integrated building operations.
  • Manage mechanical contractors and service providers, ensuring work quality, safety standards, and contractual compliance prior to certification.
  • Support the implementation of smart facilities management (FM) technologies to enhance monitoring and optimization of mechanical systems.
  • Lead mechanical aspects of office design, renovation, and fit-out projects from planning and tender stages through to completion.
  • Coordinate with landlords on mechanical system issues, including defect rectification during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
  • Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, codes of practice, and relevant safety and environmental standards.
  • Monitor and optimize energy usage from mechanical systems, particularly cooling and ventilation, to improve overall building efficiency.
  • Perform any other duties related to mechanical systems and facilities operations as assigned.
  • Any other tasks as assigned pertaining to mechanical systems, facilities operations and energy sustainability.

What We Are Looking For

Requirements



  • Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering or a related Built Environment discipline.
  • Prior experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering role managing system design and development and deploying smart technologies to enhance building operations is preferred.
  • Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues on electrical and energy related issues.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with project teams and landlords.
  • Familiar with BCA regulations, code of practice on electrical engineering, etc.
  • Experience in managing maintenance programs and mechanical contractors in a facilities environment is preferred.
