Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of one (1) year

Working hours:
·    Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
·    Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
·    Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Services:
·      Preparing teaching materials and learning activities based on Primary Science syllabus, upon teachers’ requests.
·      Assist students in the use of certain apparatus, as directed.
·      Assist in preparing training materials to students, parents and staff, as directed.
·      Assist in the preparation of apparatus, equipment and reagents for laboratory lessons.
·      Maintain the cleanliness of the two Science Rooms, including the preparation room.
·      Maintain apparatus in the Science Labs/ Rooms.
·      Maintain outdoor Science facilties and equipment in the school (including the ponds, garden, hydroponics system and Integrated Farming Systems (IFS); aquaponics).
·      Clean and operate food waste system and farming systems (e.g. Integrated Farming system, aeroponics and hydroponics systems)
·      Maintain stock check/inventory system (e.g, T & L resources, lab equipment's, Sparkle Kits, etc) on a termly basis.
·      Any other administrative task or indoor/outdoor science facilities and equipment maintenance related duties as assigned by the Authority.

Qualifications and experience:
·       At least a pass in PSLE English.
·       At least two years of working experience in school context as a science lab assistant.
