Tanggungjawab

We are growing SHRI's portfolio of professional, corporate and accredited programmes, and are looking for a Learning & Development Developer to help us build the content and learning experiences behind them.

This is an end-to-end development role. You will take programme ideas, frameworks and subject-matter expertise and turn them into practical, engaging and delivery-ready learning programmes.

The Role & Deliverables

Depending on the programme, you could be developing something new, adapting existing SHRI content for a corporate client, refreshing an established programme, or preparing content for accreditation or digital delivery.

Your work will include:

  • Developing curriculum frameworks, course and module outlines, learning outcomes and programme structures.
  • Creating facilitator decks, course notes, participant workbooks, activities, case studies and other learning materials.
  • Designing assessments, assessment plans and supporting materials where required.
  • Working with faculty and subject-matter experts to translate their expertise into structured and reusable learning content.
  • Researching and developing relevant Singapore and industry examples and applications.
  • Customising SHRI's proprietary programmes for different organisations, industries and learner groups.
  • Supporting curriculum mapping and documentation for SSG, WSQ, EduTrust and other relevant accreditation requirements.
  • Adapting content for blended and digital learning.
  • Reviewing and improving programmes based on faculty, learner and client feedback.
  • Maintaining a consistent standard across SHRI's growing library of proprietary learning content.

Your core deliverable is rigorous, high-quality learning content where function and form matter equally. It should be clear, well scaffolded and designed to achieve its learning objectives. It should connect coherently to SHRI’s broader intellectual property and be thoughtfully presented to create a strong learner experience.

The Opportunity

We are building more than individual courses. SHRI's proprietary content can be used across professional programmes, customised corporate training, stackable certifications and longer learning pathways.

You will have the opportunity to work across the full development cycle, from an initial idea through curriculum design, content development and accreditation to seeing the programme delivered.

Our environment is dynamic. New opportunities emerge, client requirements change and priorities can move quickly. You should be comfortable working with ideas that are still taking shape and helping bring structure and quality to them.

As the portfolio grows, there is room for you to grow with it. Depending on your strengths and interests, this could mean greater ownership of instructional design, curriculum strategy, digital learning, product development or entire programme portfolios.

Who We Are Looking For

You are curious, resourceful and comfortable starting with a blank page. You can take complex or loosely structured information, make sense of it and turn it into something clear, practical and useful.

You care about the quality of the finished product, but you do not need perfect conditions to get started. You can adapt when priorities change while maintaining a consistent standard of work.

You also enjoy working with people. Our programmes bring together faculty, subject-matter experts, clients, learners and colleagues across different functions. Collaboration is a big part of how our team works.

What do you bring to the table?

Ideally, you will bring:

  • 3–5years of experience in L&D, instructional design, curriculum development, adult education, HR or a related field.
  • Strong writing, research and content-development skills.
  • A good understanding of adult learning and how to translate concepts into practical learning.
  • Strong visual and information design skills, with a good eye for layout, hierarchy and presentation across slides, course materials and other learning resources.
  • Good judgement and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage several pieces of work and deadlines at the same time.
  • Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn subjects you may not already know.
  • The flexibility to adapt as priorities and requirements change.

Experience with WSQ/SWDA curriculum and assessment requirements or digital learning would be useful, but is not essential.

More important is your ability to learn quickly, collaborate well and take ownership of what you produce.

Interested?

If you enjoy building learning experiences, are curious about how ideas become programmes and want the opportunity to grow alongside a developing portfolio, we would like to hear from you.

Send us your CV and tell us about something you have built, developed or improved that you are proud of.
