We are representing a leading engineering and construction company with a strong global presence, specializing in civil engineering and structural steel works.

Job Description:

• Undertake detailed technical and structural designs, prepare calculation reports and shop drawings, instruct drafters and check/amend fabrication drawings.
• Review and improve design considerations and assumptions based on project requirements on competitive and economical approaches.
• Liaise and coordinate with operation teams, clients, consultants and/or authorities on technical issues and to ensure design intents are met.
• Provide technical engineering advice to comply with Singapore design standards, codes, specifications and authorities’ regulations.
• Propose value engineering, design improvement, optimization and innovation to improve operation efficiency and maximize construction profit.
• Follow up with projects in charged closely, visit factory and site to provide technical advices and supports to operation team.
• Other ad hoc job assigned by Technical Manager or the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Background Civil and/ or Structural Engineering
• Background in steel structure design/ earth retaining stabilizing structures design or equivalent.
• Knowledge with Excel, Tekla Tedds and *************
• Sites Visit required.
