Job Description

The Warehouse Assistant / Warehouseman supports daily warehouse work, mainly receiving, checking, moving, storing, issuing, and packing materials.

This is a hands-on role that requires care, accuracy, and the ability to handle normal warehouse duties safely.

Role and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods from suppliers and couriers.

• Check part numbers, quantities, delivery orders, packing lists, and item condition.

• Report shortages, damages, wrong items, or delivery issues.

• Move, label, and store materials in the correct locations.

• Pick and issue materials to production, QC, engineering, or other departments.

• Support packing, repacking, loading, and unloading work when required.

• Maintain simple warehouse records and update stock movements when needed.

• Support cycle count and stock take.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow company safety rules and safe handling practices.

Skills and Experience

• Warehouse, logistics, storekeeping, or receiving experience at a machining shop or equipment manufacturing company is preferred.

• Fresh candidates with a good attitude may also be considered.

• Able to read basic documents such as PO, DO, packing list, labels, and part numbers.

• Computer skills are preferred.

• Able to perform regular warehouse handling work, including moving goods and standing or walking during daily operations.

• Forklift, pallet jack, or warehouse equipment experience is an advantage.

General

• Must follow all company safety and warehouse rules.

• Must report unsafe conditions, damaged goods, or equipment issues.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC or equivalent.

• Relevant warehouse or forklift training is an advantage.
