As a Student Recruitment & Education Advisor, you will guide prospective students and parents in choosing the right Foundation, Diploma and Degree programmes based on their qualifications, interests and future plans. You will engage with students both on campus and through school visits, education fairs, Open Days, roadshows and other recruitment activities.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, are confident in communication, and are motivated by achieving targets and building a rewarding career in education and student recruitment.
What You’ll Do
- Guide students and parents in selecting suitable academic programmes based on their interests, qualifications and career goals.
- Explain programme information, entry requirements, fees, scholarships and application procedures clearly and confidently.
- Handle enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, email and online platforms, and follow up with prospective students in a timely manner.
- Support students throughout the application, registration and enrollment process.
- Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, school visits, events, referrals and walk-ins.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, school counsellors and education partners.
- Represent the university at school visits, education fairs, career fairs, Open Days, roadshows, exhibitions and other recruitment events.
- Assist with education talks, presentations, booth activities and student engagement initiatives.
- Work towards individual and team recruitment targets and support the conversion of enquiries into successful enrollments.
- Maintain accurate student records, update the CRM/database and monitor follow-ups throughout the recruitment process.
- Keep up to date with education trends, competitor programmes and student preferences, and share relevant market feedback with the team.
- Support other admissions, marketing and student recruitment activities when required.
Who Is Suitable for This Role?
- Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education or a related field are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, education counselling, recruitment, retail, telemarketing or similar roles are welcome.
- Individuals who enjoy interacting with students, parents, teachers and members of the public.
- Confident communicators who can present information clearly and build relationships easily.
- Friendly, approachable and proactive, with a genuine interest in helping students make informed education decisions.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working towards recruitment and enrollment targets.
- Willing to learn and develop skills in education counselling, admissions and student recruitment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, WhatsApp and other digital communication tools.
- Willing to work on selected weekends for Open Days, education fairs and peak intake periods.
- Willing to travel for school visits, roadshows and recruitment events.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
