Job Summary
Support project management by coordinating technical meetings, managing submissions, monitoring site progress, and ensuring quality standards in building construction projects.
Responsibilities
Assist the project manager in coordinating on-site and off-site meetings to resolve technical issues effectively
Submit architectural samples, shop drawings, and related documents to consultants or authorities to ensure compliance
Coordinate and monitor site work progress through periodic inspections and project meetings
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution
Develop procedures, detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to support project requirements
Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity targets to meet project timelines
Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and manage List of Materials (LOM) to track project progress and resource usage
Verify technical specifications for adequacy to ensure compliance with project standards
Identify product quality issues, document them, and implement corrective solutions to maintain quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings accurately
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
Understanding of ISO 9001 clauses and audit procedures is an added advantage
