Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, databases, APIs, microservices, Azure, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, deploying, and supporting scalable customer-facing applications across the full technology stack.

The role requires strong hands-on development experience along with the ability to collaborate with System Analysts, Business Analysts, Architects, DBAs, developers, and business users in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build robust backend solutions using existing APIs or develop proprietary APIs to support business rules and application requirements, primarily using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly, and scalable front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, Graph APIs, OAuth, and microservices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and optimal performance of front-end components.
• Implement application validations, data quality checks, logging, exception handling, and error management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and ensure data integrity across applications.
• Work with MSSQL and Oracle databases, including complex SQL development, performance tuning, indexing, and data migration.
• Handle large datasets and perform data migration between Oracle and MSSQL environments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain source code using Git/GitHub and follow established source control practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and follow DevOps procedures for build and deployment.
• Deploy applications and microservices across SIT, UAT, and Production environments following organizational deployment procedures.
• Deploy microservices using Docker containers, with Kubernetes knowledge being an advantage.
• Implement database versioning and migration using Liquibase or Flyway.
• Integrate applications with Azure services including:
• Azure API Management
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Storage
• Azure Functions
• Application Insights
• Azure App Services
• Azure Web Apps
• Develop and support external customer-facing websites with integration of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
• Collaborate with System Analysts, Business Analysts, Architects, DBAs, developers, cross-functional teams, and business users.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in full-stack development, cloud technologies, DevOps, and modern front-end/back-end development.
• Work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Spring MVC
• JPA/Hibernate
• Kafka
• Angular
• Strong experience developing external/customer-facing web applications.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with:
• Complex SQL queries
• Query optimization
• Performance tuning
• Indexing
• Database connectivity and connection pooling
• Large-scale data migration
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Graph APIs, OAuth, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Liquibase or Flyway for database versioning and migrations.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure-based application deployments.
• Experience deploying microservices using Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
