Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, data-driven, and highly visual Data Visualization Analyst to join our advanced analytics and operations team. In this critical role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end business intelligence (BI) dashboards, data reporting architectures, and interactive performance stories. Operating at the intersection of data engineering, software product development, and front-office business desks, you will translate multi-layered transactional and behavioral datasets into intuitive visual interfaces. The ideal candidate will combine strong systematic backend data logic with a sharp eye for dashboard design to build high-performance reporting tracks while maintaining absolute data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Architecture Design: Design, configure, evaluate, and deploy scalable, interactive business intelligence dashboards and reporting metrics that turn complex business data into intuitive insights.
- Data Pipeline Integration: Connect, audit, and clean high-volume datasets across multi-cloud infrastructure, centralized data warehouses, and relational databases using robust querying frameworks.
- UI/UX Dashboard Optimization: Formulate and execute rigorous layout design rules, navigation metrics, and formatting styles to ensure enterprise dashboards are high-performance and accessible.
- Metrics & KPI Engineering: Build and maintain dynamic database querying pipelines and extract custom calculated fields to model core business performance tracks.
- Performance Dashboards & Briefings: Interpret data logic variations and compile comprehensive data visualization charts, real-time analytics reports, and strategic briefs for management review.
- System Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Monitor dashboard execution logs for latency risks, database synchronization errors, or api data gaps, troubleshooting software bugs promptly to preserve application uptime.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Enforce strict data security standards across all reporting datasets, ensuring all target tracking and pipeline routing strictly comply with corporate policy and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a highly quantitative STEM discipline.
- Technical Stack: Deep engineering knowledge of core business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView). Strong relational database querying logic using SQL is essential.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proven familiarity with data transformation tools (Alteryx, dbt, or Python/R data packages), web analytics tracking, and basic data modeling paradigms. Good understanding of agile sprint frameworks is an asset.
- Experience: Prior hands-on experience (2–5 years) as a Data Visualization Analyst, BI Developer, or Advanced Data Analyst—preferably within an enterprise SaaS, tech consultancy, fintech, or digital platform provider—is required.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional structural logic, sharp analytical diagnostic skills, intense attention to detail under tight deployment schedules, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
