Role Description The Associate, Strategy and Programme Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role supports the design and development of social impact strategies and programs by conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to structured problem-solving. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in market and stakeholder analysis, helping develop program frameworks, preparing presentations and reports, and supporting the delivery of client-facing consulting engagements. The associate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure that solutions are evidence-based, human-centered, and aligned with Ratio:Cause’s mission. The role also involves contributing to monitoring and evaluation efforts and helping refine programs based on learnings and feedback.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify insights, and support strategy and programme design.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey complex ideas clearly.
- Consulting capabilities, including structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement, to support client and partner projects.
- Experience with market research and related methods (e.g., surveys, interviews, desk research) to inform evidence-based solutions.
- Ability to create clear, compelling presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated interest in social impact, public policy, or behavioral change initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment.
