Job Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and specifications.
Evaluate tenders from contractors and suppliers, providing recommendations.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and scopes of work with clients and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, tracking variations and change orders.
Manage and minimize costs, ensuring the project remains within budget.
Conduct financial assessments and valuations of work in progress.
Prepare interim and final accounts, ensuring timely payments.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
Provide advice on contractual and legal matters related to cost management.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
Job Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and legal considerations.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards.
