JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee the preparation of ingredients and baking processes for a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Develop and refine recipes to ensure high-quality and innovative baked products.
• Supervise and mentor junior bakers and bakery staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure consistent adherence to baking standards, quality, and presentation requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bakery workspace in compliance with health regulations.
• Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and procurement of baking ingredients and supplies.
• Implement quality control measures to meet customer expectations and company standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and continuously enhance baking skills and techniques.
• Enforce health and safety regulations rigorously across the bakery operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a bakery, with proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Passionate about baking, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and presentation.
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory baking role is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
