What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, Advertising, Creative Multimedia or a related field 
• Able to commit to a minimum internship period of 12 weeks 
• Passionate about content creation, video production and social media trends 
• Familiar with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube 
• Basic experience in filming and video editing using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar 
• Experience creating content for personal social media, freelance work or school projects is an advantage 
• Creative, proactive and willing to contribute ideas 
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia 
• Friendly, positive and comfortable appearing on camera is an advantage 
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently as well as in a team 

Successful interns may be considered for a full-time opportunity upon completion of the internship.

Content Creator Intern

Love creating content, following trends, and turning ideas into engaging videos?

CommercePlus is looking for a creative and energetic Content Creator Intern to support content creation for CommercePlus, in-house brands, and selected client accounts. You’ll gain hands-on experience in planning, filming, editing, and publishing content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

What You’ll Do

CREATE

• Brainstorm and develop content ideas based on current trends 
• Assist with filming and editing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts 
• Create simple, authentic and engaging content that helps brands connect with their audiences 
• Support content shoots, product videos and campaign content 

ENGAGE

• Monitor audience engagement and social media trends 
• Support community engagement through comments and content interactions 
• Observe what types of content perform well and contribute ideas for improvement 

COMMUNICATE

• Work closely with project leads, creative and ecommerce teams on content planning 
• Assist in preparing content calendars and ensuring content is delivered on schedule 
• Support brand and campaign requirements across different social media platforms 
• Participate in livestream or on-camera content when required
