• Senior Application Support Engineer – Real-Time Payments
• 12-Month Contract | Extendable | Global Financial Institution

We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to provide L2 production support for critical Real-Time Payments applications within a global banking environment.

The role focuses on production incident and problem management, RCA, service stability and operational excellence across a high-availability, transaction-driven payments environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support and troubleshoot critical production incidents in a 24x7 environment.
• Lead incident/problem management, RCA and permanent remediation.
• Monitor application health and perform technical troubleshooting and BAU automation.
• Work closely with global support, infrastructure, development and business teams.
• Support patching, vulnerability remediation, release activities and service governance.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex production issues.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years’ IT/Application Support experience, preferably within Banking or Payments.
• Strong experience supporting high-availability, real-time transaction applications.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, SQL/Oracle/DB2/PLSQL.
• Exposure to JDBC, XML/JSON, MQ/RabbitMQ, Microservices and MuleSoft.
• Strong ITIL, ServiceNow, monitoring, incident/problem management and RCA experience.
• Payments experience across RTGS, Real-Time, Domestic or Cross-Border Payments.
• Finacle or payment orchestration experience is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Contract: 12 months, extendable
