Role Description The Vice President of Technical Services at SUNU Assurances Sénégal is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the technical operations, service delivery, and continuous improvement of technical support functions. This role involves managing and optimizing technical service processes, ensuring high-quality support to internal teams and external stakeholders, and aligning technical initiatives with organizational objectives. The Vice President will lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with senior leadership on strategic and operational decisions, and monitor key performance indicators to drive efficiency and service excellence. Daily activities include supervising technical teams, prioritizing and resolving complex technical issues, managing budgets for technical operations, and implementing best practices and standards across the organization. The position also requires fostering a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and accountability within the technical services department.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, incident management, and service delivery optimization.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate resources effectively.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to plan, track, and optimize financial resources for technical services operations.
• Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills to define technical services roadmaps, set priorities, and align initiatives with business objectives.

• Candidates should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Candidates should have experience in a senior technical or operations leadership role, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
• Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information technology, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools and managing distributed teams.
