Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, bake, and plate a variety of pastries and bakeries following recipes and standards.
Ensure consistency and quality in all pastry items.
Work closely with the Pastry Chef and kitchen team to execute daily service efficiently.
Assist in developing new pastry items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section.
Uphold hygiene and food safety regulations as per SFA standards.
Monitor ingredient inventory, assist in ordering, and ensure proper storage.
Assist in special events, private dining, and catering requests when required.
Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting and respecting fellow teammates.
Be open to learning and refining pastry techniques to elevate your craft.



Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 1 year in similar capacity and experience.
A culinary school certification or a diploma is a plus. Practical experience and basic education will also be considered.
Previous experience in a pastry or bakery kitchen is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision and efficiency.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Demonstrated ability to check freshness of food and ingredients prior to cooking.
Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
