  • Maintain the Group Accounting Policies Manual for new and complex standards, and advise on transaction accounting for corporate actions, business combinations, subsidiary set-ups and intangible assets across Group entities.
  • Design and maintain the Group's operating segment framework and management-defined performance measure governance, ensuring consistency across Board reporting, statutory financial statements and regulatory disclosures.
  • Support capital markets and strategic corporate initiatives as the primary in-house counterpart to auditors, reporting accountants and advisers on historical financial information, pro forma financial information, working capital sufficiency analysis, comfort letters and management commentary on financial performance.
  • Build and own the Group's reporting capability for exchange and securities regulator obligations, including quarterly interim reports, annual reports (financials) and sustainability statements aligned to the relevant reporting frameworks, ready for deployment in line with the Group's corporate agenda.
  • Prepare technical accounting papers for the Board Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (BARCC) and the Board of Directors (BOD), and brief auditors and regulators on the Group's positions.
  • Represent the Financial Controllership function in due diligence and governance working groups and coordinate with the Company Secretary on disclosure matters.
  • Champion standardised disclosure templates, AI and automation to optimise deliverable across the reporting cycle.

Key Result Areas:

  • High-quality technical accounting positions and transition projects delivered on time
  • Readiness of the Group's segment, performance measure and regulatory reporting frameworks for corporate milestones
