What The Role Is
You will be part of a specialised team driving the development of Singapore's underground master plan and space optimisation initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with land planners and infrastructure agencies to shape policies and technical frameworks that will define how Singapore utilises its underground space for future urban development.
What You Will Be Working On
You will focus on facilitating the planning, design, and implementation of integrated and co-located underground developments. Your work will include providing engineering and geotechnical expertise for complex underground projects, overseeing technical feasibility studies of infrastructural facilities, and conducting quantitative analyses to optimise space utilisation. You will prepare technical reports, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support policy development that enables innovative underground infrastructure solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in civil/structural engineering works, including infrastructure and services planning and geotechnical works.
- You should possess excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including economic and financial analysis capabilities, along with proficiency in GIS, CAD, and BIM software.
- Strong project management abilities, excellent communication and report writing skills, and the capacity to work independently under tight deadlines are essential.
- Knowledge of electrical transmission infrastructure, spatial equipment arrangement, and M&E systems would be advantageous.
