About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis / Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will assist the chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and other food items.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and food preparation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Assist with stock checking and receiving of kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food & beverage experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personal hygiene and a positive attitude.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
