Who We Need

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Cardiovascular Laboratory/ Cath Lab.

• Responsible for providing nursing support services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department and CVL and in leading the Code Blue Team in the event of a cardiac arrest within the Department/CVL.
• Assists the Radiologist/Cardiologist and other Specialists in Diagnostic Imaging procedure and invasive procedure in CVL. Also inserts cannula at radiologist’s instructions for contrast examinations.
• Prepares sterile trolleys and sets up equipments/ accessories for Diagnostic Imaging and CVL procedures.
• Performs Newborn Hearing Screening and ECG.
• Ensures that patients fill up the Consent Form for special examinations such as MRI, IVP, CT scan and other invasive procedures etc. Explains the procedure to patients and reassures patient whenever required.
• Undertakes other duties and tasks as might from time to time be requested by the Manager.

How to Succeed

• Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
• Able to assist Radiologists/Cardiologists and other Specialists during procedures.
• Able to commit to 5.5 work week and handle on-call duties when required.
• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
• Those with Anaesthesia Unit (AU) exposure is an added advantage.
