The Role 

We’re hiring a Finance & Business Intelligence Manager to establish the financial discipline for the business, in addition to providing business intelligence and insights to the founders and investors. 

This is a foundational role. You will develop financial processes, enforce discipline around month-end and year-end close and associated internal reporting, and help the founders establish and track key success metrics including those oriented around unit economics of the business. 

You should be very comfortable with accounting processes and systems, working with corporate secretarial teams and financial auditors for a small company or startup. Strategic financial thinking and your ability to drive unit economics tracking and insights will be key to our business success over time. 

What You’ll Do 

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations 
• Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the founders 
• Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules 
• Implement emerging technology to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability 
• Develop cash flow tracker and lead short- and long-term cash flow forecasting 
• Partner with founders to balance immediate liquidity needs with short-term, low-risk investments that generate yields instead of leaving funds idle 
• Support treasury close activities and statutory reporting 
• Monitor sales accounts and subscriptions collections to assist revenue forecast 
• Creating and maintaining BI dashboards and reports 
• Collect and analyze data to generate valuable insights and trends 
• Establish Unit economics and measure profit and cost per individual unit 
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis 

What We’re Looking For 

• 8+ years of experience managing financial accounts and month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting processes and systems, tax and audit 
• Experience with multiple financial accounting and BI software systems 
• Ability and experience building processes from zero to one 
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology without sacrificing accountability 
• Comfort with Singapore financial reporting standards and requirements 
• Proven financial management skills and experience in budget preparation and management. 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-speed environment
