About the role:

Responsible for the overall maintenance and properly functioning systems. The role includes overseeing and ensuring the smoothness of the operation, managing maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting any equipment issues that may arise.

• Ensure all electrical systems adhere to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of all electrical assets and inspection records.
• Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and operate backup power systems during outages.
• Liaison with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other relevant authorities.
• Monitor energy usage and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns promptly and effectively.
• Support overall building services and facility operations.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations procedure.

a) Ensuring all work is carried out safely and responsibly.

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and rectify any potential technical faults or issues.
• Regularly reviewing and updating procedures and documentation related to maintenance processes.
• Developing and conduct training for the maintenance team to improve skill sets by following industry needs and changes.
• Other ad-hoc assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a certificate authorized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Chargeman A0/A1 or Diploma in Electrical with certificate of competency A4/BO/B4.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in facilities or building maintenance. Familiar with property development/hospitality/ mall industry.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Good command of both BM and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Good interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
