AWS SysOps Administrator - Global Cloud Centre of Excellence

Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) brings together a diverse, knowledgeable group of experts across FWD

Group to develop best practices in cloud application and adoption for the rest of the organization to

follow. The CCoE defines the cloud strategy for FWD Group, develops centralized cloud platform and

standards in cloud adoption with scalable and federated policies, frameworks, procedures, and reference

architecturesthe organization's app/dev and infrastructure teams can follow as they migrate applications

and infrastructure to the cloud, while ensuring cloud security and compliance.

Position Summary

As AWS SysOps Administrator you will be critical in the CCoE, responsible for managing, using and

services/systems on the AWS platform. also are responsible for maintaining and managing the AWS

infrastructure company and managing the bills and optimize the costs.

Core Functions

 Monitor the health or utilization of AWS resources on a full scale by making use of highly

complex Amazon CloudWatch.

 Maintaining a backup of the AWS resources.

 To reduce the time required for the production, he/she should be capable of deploying

automation infrastructure by using the AWS Cloud Formation techniques.

 Improve the resources and work on resource tagging to designate costs and for thoroughly

planning of budgeting, governance, and reporting.

 For Creating and managing VPC, URL proxies, C2S access points & as well as Bastion Hosts.

 To communicate with the network team to complete the network connections for the VPCs and

gateways.

 To efficiently monitor billing and to develop cost optimization strategies.

 Managing full AWS Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation and Security.

 Setting up and administering multi-tier computer system circumstances.

 Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems.

 For performing software upgrades. Kernel patching, errata patches.

 Monitor availability and performance extent.

 Monitor effectively charging and cost optimization strategies.

 Manage disaster recovery and create backups.

 Maintain Data Integrity and access control while you use AWS application platform.

 Managing and Monitoring EKS clusters

 Building CI/CD Pipelines and should be able to write scripts to automate AWS day to day tasks.

 Experience in migrating on prem infra and applications to AWS and should be aware of various

migration approaches available

 Experience in establishing network connections between on-prem and cloud and managing

network services in AWS.

 Troubleshooting AWS Network and infra related issues and providing RCA for the fixes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience
• Relevant degree or diploma programmed ofstudy
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and EKS
