This role is essential to:
- Administer pre-contract and post-contract activities from tender stage through project completion and final account closure.
- Prepare bills of quantities, measurements, cost estimates, tender pricing and commercial submissions for design-and-build and build-only projects.
- Control development budgets, project costs, payments, variations, expenditure and internal cost-control records to protect project gross profit.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare at least two price comparisons during the tender process.
- Prepare monthly progress claims, variation orders and final accounts within required submission timelines.
- Assess subcontractor work progress and site valuation before preparing interim payment recommendations.
- Resolve contractual issues and disputes by reviewing scope, project records, agreed requirements and commercial information.
- Attend site visits, tender interviews, site progress meetings and internal or external project meetings to verify scope, progress and contractual matters.
- Review design information with designers during the pre-contract stage and translate the project scope into accurate costing.
- Apply ISO requirements and contract-document procedures to keep tender, claim, payment and commercial records accurate and compliant.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or demonstrate minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Apply practical knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract administration, tendering, bills of quantities, measurement, costing, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
- Interpret design information, scope of work and contractual requirements accurately.
- Prepare cost budgets, price comparisons, tender submissions, progress claims & payment recommendations accurately.
- Communicate effectively with Sales, Project, Design, contractors, consultants, subcontractors and vendors on commercial and contractual matters.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
