We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join one of our clients here in Singapore, and your role is as below :


Key Responsibilities


  • Incident Support: Assist the Application Production Support (L2) team with RCA and workaround/interim/permanent solutions for production issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Work with Business Analysts, Technical Support, and Development teams on RCA and fix proposals.
  • Problem & Change Management: Prioritize problem tickets with Product Owners and regional stakeholders; manage release scoping and complex production data fixes following Change Management processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze incident/service request patterns, implement permanent solutions, automate repetitive tasks, and communicate known issues/interim solutions.
  • Application Stability: Monitor application performance with the L2 team and identify optimization/improvement opportunities.
  • Go-Live Support: Support releases, production user sanity testing/sign-off, conversion/migration, and post-go-live monitoring.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Bank policies, standards, and practices.


Technical & Behavioral Competencies


  • Strong functional & business analysis skills; ability to bridge Business/Operations and IT.
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Trade Finance/Electronic Invoicing preferred.
  • Knowledge of XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 & data transformations.
  • Experience with functional solutions design for web applications and microservices, integrations, APIs, REST, and high-volume, low-latency, high-availability applications.
  • Application Design and development exposure is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS, PKI, Certificates, and user authentication.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Crontab/Autosys/Quartz, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and JIRA.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
  • Production support, incident analysis, RCA, and issue-fix documentation experience.
  • Working experience with Java/J2EE, WebSphere/WebLogic, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, and Bootstrap.
