We are looking for an experienced and driven Events Manager to join our team.
You will be managing events from initial planning through to on-site execution and post-event completion. This role requires someone who is organised, resourceful, client-focused and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced events environment.
You will work closely with clients, internal teams, suppliers, designers and operations crew to ensure every event is delivered smoothly, on time and according to requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage events from conceptualisation and planning through to on-site execution and post-event completion.
- Develop creative event concepts, themes, ideas and experiences based on client briefs, objectives and budgets.
- Prepare and contribute to event proposals, presentations and pitches, working closely with the Design and Sales teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into creative concepts and actionable event plans.
- Prepare event timelines, schedules, checklists and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Design and Operations.
- Liaise and negotiate with external vendors, suppliers, venues and contractors.
- Source event-related products, services, manpower and materials when required.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate venue requirements.
- Manage event logistics including setup, teardown, deliveries and collections.
- Coordinate and brief event crew, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Oversee on-site event setup and ensure the event runs according to schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during events.
- Monitor project budgets, supplier costs and event expenses.
- Ensure event requirements, safety considerations and client expectations are met.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups and project closure.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in events management or a similar role.
- Experience managing corporate events, family days, carnivals, roadshows, activations or large-scale events will be an advantage.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and client servicing skills.
- Able to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Resourceful and able to solve problems quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Willing to work outside regular office hours, including evenings and weekends, when required for events.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
