[What the role is]

You will work as an Engineer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to maintain the building facilities.

[What you will be working on]

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

  • Lead a group of technical officers to oversee the general maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the facility
  • Manage security and fire fighting system within the premises
  • Lead and coordinate review on Workplace Safety and Health issues
  • Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management, building maintenance and safety, while ensuring compliance with NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

[What we are looking for]

Job Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in government procurement and contract administration, including drafting of tender documents will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lead, interact and foster teamwork
  • Good problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in using IT equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, etc.
  • As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
