About the role
Lead Specialist – GIPS Operations role within a regional investment operations team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong experience in securities, fund accounting, reconciliation and trade lifecycle processes.

- Perform and review daily Cash and Position Reconciliations, investigate breaks and ensure timely resolution.
- Support cash and securities trade booking across various asset classes.
- Handle and review Corporate Actions and related processes.
- Support trade settlement and trade lifecycle activities.
- Investigate trade breaks and analyze trade booking/recaps, including potential P&L impact.
- Perform daily oversight of IBOR and Bloomberg-related activities.
- Monitor internal and external limits and escalate any breaches accordingly.
- Support Fund Accounting, valuation and NAV calculation activities.
- Liaise with internal and external audit teams on audit matters.
- Participate in projects, testing, process improvements and new business initiatives.
About you
- 5–10 years of experience in Investment Operations and/or Middle Office.
- Strong knowledge of securities and financial instruments.
- Good understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Private Equity, Corporate Actions, Trade Booking & Settlement, Cash & Position Reconciliation, Fund Accounting & NAV Calculation, Trade Lifecycle / Front-to-Back Processes.
- Strong investment operations experience, preferably in settlement, custody, trustee or fund operations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Experience with Bloomberg / BBG and EMS-IBOR (added advantage).
- Experience within an insurance or mutual fund environment (added advantage).
- Knowledge of derivatives and structured notes (added advantage).
- Previous exposure to projects, testing or process improvement (added advantage).

Work Arrangement
Location: Putrajaya, next to IOI City Mall
Working Arrangement: 100% office-based
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overtime: Required, particularly during month-end periods.
Public Holidays: Candidates must be willing to work on selected Malaysia Public Holidays to support regional Asian markets. Replacement Leave in Lieu will be provided.
