What's the role?

Join us as an Intern in our Finance team and you will work on exciting projects as a Procure to Pay or provide operational support on Internal Control System (ICS) topics. As a member of our international and multidisciplinary team, you will gain experience in this newly established Shared Service Center (SSC), as we provide all the Accounting related services to Hilti organizations located globally. We strive at providing standardized, high quality and value-adding services to the entities we service.

What You'll do

With the Procure to Pay team you’ll be doing operational finance tasks like:

• Perform invoice processing.
• Handle travel and expense (T&E) claims.
• Maintain vendor master data.
• Carry out tasks typically assigned to junior accountants under supervision of senior team members or team leaders.

With the Internal Control System (ICS) & Compliance team, you’ll be involved with:

• Ensuring timely closure of ICS assessments and remediations across all functions.
• Work closely with local ICS coordinators, finance business partners, and regional process experts.
• Support reporting of non-compliances, especially T&E related issues.
• Assist in preparations for regional internal audits (e.g., corporate audit, ISO).

Meetings & Collaboration

• Attend virtual and physical meetings as required.
• Actively participate in team discussions and updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones (may require flexible working hours).

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Financial literacy

• Expertise in MS office suite
