Operations (Warehouse) Associate
About the role
This is a hands-on, physically active role based in the warehouse and out at event sites. Your day is spent on your feet: assembling and tearing down event booths, packing and moving products, operating pallet jacks and trolleys, and getting stock prepared, loaded and where it needs to be.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and tear down event and roadshow booths — assembling desks, chairs and displays on-site.
- Prepare, pack and wrap products for events and deliveries according to packing lists.
- Move, load and unload stock and equipment safely using pallet jacks, trolleys, hand trucks and other warehouse equipment.
- Pick, prepare and dispatch orders accurately for delivery and assembly.
- Receive incoming stock, and store, arrange and retrieve items within the warehouse.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, organised and safe at all times.
- Support deliveries and on-site product assembly when required.
- Carry out stock counts and help keep physical stock accurate and in good condition.
- Work safely at all times and flag any operational or safety issues promptly.
About you
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on warehouse and event work, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 30kg and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable operating, or willing to be trained on, pallet jacks, trolleys and similar warehouse equipment.
- WSQ Specialist Diploma / Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline — or relevant hands-on experience.
- Open to fresh graduates, or candidates with experience in warehousing, fulfilment or last-mile / parcel logistics.
- Comfortable working weekends and at off-site events as part of a normal 5-day roster.
- Practical, hardworking and reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck into physical work.
- Take care to do things properly and safely, keep your work area organised, and communicate clearly with the team.
