What you'll be doing

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to brand standards and recipes.
• Sushi Support: Assist Sushi Chefs with basic tasks such as cooking and seasoning sushi rice, preparing nori, and assembling basic maki rolls or appetizers.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work stations, kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes continuously throughout the shift.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of ingredients, report shortages to the Kitchen Manager, and properly rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Food Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to local health department guidelines, food safety standards, and restaurant cleanliness protocols.
• Waste Management: Minimize food wastage through precise cutting, portion control, and careful handling of ingredients.

Requirements (optional to include):

• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
