What The Role Is

The job holder plays a substantive role in shaping and executing strategies to develop Singapore's space industry and grow the adoption of space-enabled technologies. Operating with greater autonomy, the job holder leads programme development, manages complex stakeholder relationships, and contributes to strategy and planning for the Industry Development team.

What You Will Be Working On

Industry Strategy

• Lead research initiatives to support the development of long-term strategies for Singapore’s space industry and space-enabled markets.
• Conduct market intelligence across the global space value chain
  
  Industry & Market Development
• Develop and implement programmes that attracts and grows the presence of space companies (both local and foreign) to enhance Singapore space industry’s linkages to the global space value chain
• Develop programmes that connect space companies with end-user industries to strengthen commercial ecosystems and accelerate the adoption of space-enabled technologies across sectors such as supply chain, finance, sustainability, commodities
• Develop programmes that strengthens the export potential of local space companies
  
  Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and manage partnerships with multinational corporations, startups, venture capital firms, research institutions, and industry partners.
  
  Cross-Functional Contribution
• Contribute to cross-agency initiatives related to Singapore’s space ecosystem.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in strategy, public policy, industry development, business development, consulting, or relevant technology sectors (e.g. space, aerospace, satellite communications).
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, translate analysis into clear recommendations and execute effectively
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex partnerships across government and industry.
