Job Summary

Prepare and serve quality Western cuisine by following recipes and specifications, control food costs, maintain kitchen equipment, and ensure workplace safety and hygiene in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality food products by following cooking and presentation recipes and specifications accurately
• Control food costs by minimizing spoilage, wastage, and managing portion sizes effectively
• Inspect all perishable food items received to ensure they meet quality standards before use
• Maintain workplace safety and hygiene by following established food safety and cleanliness protocols
• Perform regular upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, utensils, and ovens to ensure proper working condition

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar kitchen or food preparation role
• Good understanding of Western cuisine cooking techniques and ingredients
• Demonstrate proactive and visionary approach to kitchen operations and food preparation

Benefits:

• 44 hours work week (5-6 working days per week)
