About the role

This role involves managing company hostels, ensuring cleanliness, safety and proper maintenance through regular inspections and audits.

Key responsibilities

* Conduct regular hostel inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness, safety and proper maintenance

* Drive and bring hostel cleaners to company hostels using the company vehicle for scheduled cleaning

* Prepare and maintain the cleaning schedule for all company hostels and ensure cleaning is carried out as planned

* Supervise cleaners and monitor their attendance, work quality and performance

* Source and arrange viewing of new hostel premises

* Coordinate hostel setup, including arranging and moving furniture, fixtures and other required items into the hostel

* Coordinate hostel key collection, handover and return with landlords and agents

* Liaise with the Maintenance Team for repairs, maintenance and reinstatement works

* Follow up on outstanding hostel issues and ensure timely rectification

* Maintain records of hostel inspections, cleaning schedules and maintenance

Requirements

* 2–3 years of experience in hostel management, facilities, housekeeping, site supervision or a similar role

* Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills

* Able to work independently and manage multiple hostel locations

* Valid driving licence and confident driving a company vehicle

* Willing to travel between company hostels

* Experience managing foreign worker accommodation / Act 446 is an advantage

* Hands-on, responsible and able to handle landlords, contractors and operational issues

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
