Customade Costume & Merchandise Pte Ltd designs and produces mascots, costumes and customisation, statues, animatronics and plushies — plus after-sales services — for event companies, theme parks, amusement parks, theatrical and live-show producers, family entertainment centres and corporate clients.

We are hiring a Business Development Executive to join our growth team and help more of our clients bring their characters to life.

The role

You will work alongside the Director of Growth to turn the demand we already generate — inbound enquiries, exhibitions and referrals — into long-term customers. This is a role for someone who can both win the deal and run the project: you will own the client relationship and coordinate closely with our design, operations and production teams to deliver on time and to expectation.

What you will do

• Work with the Director of Growth to execute growth strategies and grow our after-sales services across all our products.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, pitching solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Engage existing clients continuously and work new leads systematically — meetings, exhibitions and outreach to referred contacts.
• Manage the workflow of each project, coordinating and ensuring clear communication between design, operations and production, and delivering to the client’s expectations.
• Sell across our full product range — matching each client to the mascots, costumes, statues, animatronics, plushies, after-sales service, etc they need.
• Strategise your client acquisition and sales to win larger and more deals, and track your progress against your target.
• Tailor and deliver presentations to each client, adapting our existing decks to their needs.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of working experience — this is not a fresh-graduate role.
• Strong client negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to prioritise and manage multiple projects at once.
• Able to learn quickly, understand our products, and adjust as projects evolve.
• Able to tailor and deliver presentations to each client.
• Proficient in English.
• Comfortable working onsite, on a 5.5-day work week, and commuting to Kallang Place.
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.

Nice to have (not required): business development or sales experience, experience in a related industry, partnership development, or exposure to costumes and creative products.

What we offer

• Base salary: SGD 3,000 – 4,000 per month, depending on experience.
• Attractive commission on top of base, discussed at interview.
• A clear sales target: SGD 300,000 in your first year, then SGD 500,000–800,000 across subsequent years.
• Real ownership of client accounts and projects, working directly with the Director of Growth.

• Location: Kallang Place, onsite
• Hours: 5.5-day work week
