Job Description for Locum Physiotherapist

1) To conduct physiotherapy sessions according to the locum contract (One Month)

2) To work according schedule by HOD. Physiotherapy Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday : 8.30am to 12.30pm unless otherwise stated.

3) To provide professional and efficient services providing high quality and effective patient care.

4) To monitor the progress of patient treated, provide counselling and instructions for follow-up treatment.

5) Maintaining the accuracy, comprehensive and timely record of inpatient and outpatient patient’s progress note.

6) To provide relevant reports to consultants in-charge on progress of patients.

7) To ensure every patient treated is charged.

8) To establish and maintain good rapport and working relationships with all medical users, staff members of all discipline and patients.

9) To keep professionally up-to-date with current research, trends and techniques.

10) To maintain all necessary statistics and records pertaining to the department and to report the same in a timely manner.

11) To ensure all equipment is safely and regularly maintained and appropriate records are retained.

12) To comply with professional codes of practices, develop and trust policies, procedures and guidelines including health and safety requirements.

13) To be responsible to be engaged in the Department and Hospital quality indicators.

14) Aurelius Hospital Nilai reserves the right to stop the locum contract with one week notice.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From RM15.00 per hour
