Requirements

Key Requirements:

  •  Degree, Diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronic, IT hardware, POS, tablet, or mobile device repair and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including component-level and PCB board diagnostics and repair.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic, testing, soldering, and repair equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in iPad / Android tablet repair, including battery replacement, screen replacement, and related hardware component repairs.

Responsibilities

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair POS equipment, electronic devices, tablets, and related peripherals.
  • Perform hardware, component-level, and PCB board repairs, including soldering, desoldering, circuit troubleshooting, connector repairs, and board-level repairs.
  • Replace faulty components such as screens, batteries, storage devices, power supplies, circuit boards, and other hardware modules.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
  • Perform testing, validation, and quality inspections on repaired, incoming, and outgoing equipment.
  • Assess equipment functionality and verify operational readiness prior to deployment or return to service.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and care of all equipment, parts, and materials received by the repair centre or depot.
  • Maintain accurate repair records, parts usage, service reports, and relevant documentation in the designated system.
  • Ensure all parts, tools, and equipment are properly labelled, tracked, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates on repair status, findings, and delays to the superior or reporting officer.
  • Adhere to company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and compliance guidelines always.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the repair centre or depot.
  • Complete all mandatory training, certifications, and competency requirements as assigned by the Company.
  • Any other duties as and when instructed by the Reporting Officer or the Senior Management.
