ROLE PURPOSE
The Sales & Operations Executive, Retail supports the transformation of the Company's food manufacturing retail operations through customer and operational data analysis, AI-assisted insights, ERP-enabled workflows, online-platform campaign management, strategic pricing and forecasting, and revenue optimisation. The role works across Retail, Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Finance, Marketing and technology partners to improve sales performance, stock visibility, customer experience, productivity, regulatory compliance and decision-making across physical and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Data Analysis & Consumer Intelligence
Consolidate and analyse customer, sales, product, outlet and online-platform data from the Company's ERP system and available digital channels.
Use Copilot AI tools to support data summarisation, pattern identification, structured analysis and the preparation of actionable commercial insights, with all AI-generated outputs independently reviewed and validated.
Segment customers and transactions by purchasing frequency, product preference, sales channel, average order value and campaign response to identify acquisition, retention and cross-selling opportunities.
Analyse customer feedback, repeat-purchase behaviour and channel performance to recommend improvements to product assortment, service delivery and customer experience.
Prepare customer and commercial-performance reports for Management while observing applicable data-protection and internal data-governance requirements.
Online Platforms & Campaign Management
Plan and coordinate online sales campaigns, product launches, seasonal promotions and livestream initiatives across approved e-commerce and social-media platforms.
Align campaign mechanics, product availability, inventory levels, promotional pricing and fulfilment readiness with Retail, Warehouse, Production and Marketing teams.
Use Copilot AI tools to support campaign ideation, audience-insight summaries, content planning and post-campaign analysis, subject to human review and brand guidelines.
Track campaign performance using relevant indicators such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, repeat purchase, revenue contribution and campaign return on investment.
Recommend improvements to campaign timing, channel selection, product bundles, promotional mechanics and customer engagement based on performance data.
Food Manufacturing Retail Operations & Compliance
Support day-to-day retail operations for the food manufacturing retail department and conduct regular outlet reviews to identify service, merchandising, inventory and process gaps.
Develop, review and implement retail SOPs covering stock handling, product traceability, labelling, storage, hygiene, customer service, order fulfilment and applicable food-safety requirements.
Work with Quality Assurance, Production and outlet teams to ensure that retail processes comply with Company policies and applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
Monitor product quality, handling practices, expiry management, display standards and customer feedback, and coordinate corrective or preventive actions where required.
Support staff adoption of new SOPs, digital tools, ERP workflows and operational controls through briefing, coaching and follow-up monitoring.
Requirements
Comfortable working with ERP systems, digital platforms and AI-assisted productivity tools; structured training will be provided for Company-specific applications.
Good communication, stakeholder-coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating across Retail, Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Finance and Marketing teams.
Prior food manufacturing experience is not mandatory; the successful candidate must be willing to undergo structured onboarding and on-the-job development in food-sector operations and compliance.
