Responsibilities
Oversee daily pub operations including bar, kitchen, and floor management to ensure smooth functioning within budget limits
Deliver high-energy, excellent guest service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Curate and update drink and food menus while managing supplier relationships to maintain quality and variety
Control stock levels, minimize waste, and manage costs to optimize profitability
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations, responsible service standards, and safety protocols
Resolve guest concerns promptly and coordinate special events to enhance patron experience
Plan and execute promotions, happy hours, and themed events to drive sales and customer engagement
Track and analyze sales, labor costs, and overall profitability to inform operational decisions
Maintain pub ambiance through management of music, lighting, and cleanliness to create a welcoming environment
Required competencies and certifications
Proven pub/bar management experience
Strong knowledge of beer, spirits, cocktails, and pub food
Familiarity with liquor laws and responsible service requirements
Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management tools, and MS Office applications
Ability to solve problems effectively under pressure
Skilled in delegating tasks across teams to ensure operational efficiency
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and customer interactions
Up-to-date knowledge of nightlife and drink trends
Capability to manage staff, control costs, and meet sales targets
Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
