About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Project Engineer to join our growing Implementation Team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between project planning and technical execution. Reporting directly to the Implementation Manager, you will own the technical deployment, network/system setup, and configuration phase of client projects—ensuring smooth onboarding from initial kickoff through post-go-live transition. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Execution: Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of network infrastructure, hardware, and enterprise software solutions.
• Project Delivery: Collaborate with the Project Managers to translate project scopes into clear technical task breakdowns and milestones.
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical expert during client onboarding, conducting technical kickoff sessions, user training, and status calls.
• Troubleshooting s Risk Mitigation: Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks during migration/deployment phases, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Documentation s Handoff: Build standard operating procedures (SOPs), Project As-Builts, Low-Level Diagram(LLD), system architecture diagrams, and detailed handover documentation for ongoing support teams.
• Process Optimization: Continuously refine deployment scripts, templates, and rollout checklists to improve implementation speed and consistency.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT project engineering, system administration, technical support, or deployment engineering.
• Networking s Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing/switching, and wireless infrastructure.
• Identity s Access: Experience configuring LDAP, Active Directory (AD), AAA, Radius.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HCIA, CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+)
• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and WiFi Campus Network Infrastructure Environment.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and project management approaches (e.g., Predictive, Agile, Hybrid)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and modern Windows Server/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with ELV system including but not limited to CCTV, Door Access System, Access Control, ANPR and Face-Recognition (FR) will be added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
