Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and files required for manufacturing specification
• Develop fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed component drawings
• Review dimensions, tolerances, materials, welding requirements, and surface finishes
• Perform basic engineering calculations where required
• Generate or coordinate flat patterns for sheet-metal components
• Provide technical support for fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, assembly, and quality inspection
• Resolve technical and dimensional problems during fabrication
• Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing specifications
• Maintain proper drawing revision and document control

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, sheet-metal fabrication, precision engineering, or manufacturing
• Fresh graduates with good CAD and mechanical knowledge are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge or experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, sheet-metal design and fabrication, flat-pattern development
• Knowledge of laser cutting, CNC press-brake bending, welding and fabrication, grinding and polishing, assembly processes
• Knowledge of engineering tolerances, measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers
• Strong mechanical and technical understanding with ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, detail-oriented and quality conscious
• Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, suppliers, customers, and management

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
