Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the implementation of financial controls and policies.
- Guide and mentor junior team members in the accounting and finance department.
A Successful Assistant Finance Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent are an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Monthly salary ranging from MYR 8,000 to MYR 10,000.
- Permanent position in the Property Development industry.
- Located in Kuala Lumpur for convenient access.
