Responsibilities:

· Responsible for test lifecycle and quality gate activities for a large project involving multiple vendors and multiple technologies;

· Strive towards meeting all datelines required in performing the testing activities;

· Review and analyse business and functional requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable;

· Work closely with the development teams in developing test scenarios, identify appropriate tools & implement test automation solutions;

· Perform Function Point analysis and counting (FPC) to support system sizing, estimation, and testing scope;

· Assist Test lead to create test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data based on project requirements;

· Perform System Testing to verify system functionality against defined acceptance criteria;

· Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate system interfaces, APIs, and integration flows;

· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, assisting users, and tracking issues;

· In some instances, depending on project requirement, the testers role can include Functional Acceptance Test, Provisional Acceptance Test and Final Acceptance Test based on Scope of Work;

· Conduct data testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems;

· Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts for regression and repetitive testing;

· Log, track, and manage defects and issues, and perform retesting after fixes;

· Responsible for test metrics creation, prepare reports and deliverables including test summary report;

· Work with the project/application team to ensure test environment setup are in accordance to the test and customer requirements;

· Identify and using appropriate AI tools to automate Test Lifecycle management and other assignments to improve productivity in alignment with management directive;

· Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality and successful system delivery;

· Actively contribute to ISO17025:2005 implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality management system in respected field of testing;

· Responsible to report occurrence of departures from QMS or procedures related to performing test activities and report to technical lead or quality manager;

· Responsible to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders/project lead on test status, test process, test progress and necessary reporting;

· Ability to coach and manage junior testers or assigned testers within team;

· Perform any other testing or QA tasks assigned by the Test Lead or other assignment as assigned from time to time to support the organizational goals

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronic & Electrical Engineering field.

· Process certification in software testing such as CTFL, CPRE, CTAL or any technical domain is a definite advantage.

· Experience in system requirement gathering or review is an advantage.

· Experience in other software testing areas such as Functional and Non-Functional testing.

· Experience in software automation testing would be beneficial.

· More than 3 years’ experience in software testing (Functional or Non-Functional).

· Exposure to ISO 29148 Systems and software engineering - Life cycle processes - Requirements engineering is an added advantage.

· Exposure to ISO 29119 Software and systems engineering -- Software testing is a series of five international standards for software testing.

· Process knowledge in ISO 9000 / 17025 or TMMI Level 3 will be an added advantage.

· Background and experience as a Developer and / or System Analyst will be a good asset

Technical/Functional Skills:

· Static testing and function point count experience

· Functional testing- Selenium, Sahi, SOAP UI

· Performance testing- Jmeter and other performance testing tool

· HTML, CSS, Javascript

· SQL, Oracle, DB2 database

Soft Skills:

· Must possess strong written and oral communication skills

· Presentation skills

· Technical Report writing skills
