Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) – Design Platform (1 Year Contract) di Rhino Partners - Maukerja

Rhino Partners is looking for a Frontend Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a design platform supporting multiple government digital services and products.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and accessible web applications and reusable UI components. Working closely with product and project teams, you will translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into production-ready frontend solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, modern frontend engineering practices, and delivering applications in Agile and DevOps environments.

• Collaborate with product and project teams to refine user stories and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and reusable web components using Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and enhance shared UI components to support consistent user experiences across multiple digital services.
• Implement frontend engineering best practices, including component reusability, performance optimisation, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Translate UI/UX designs into intuitive, responsive interfaces aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Apply frontend security best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.
• Integrate and support security testing tools, including SonarQube and Fortify on Demand, and assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines and frontend build and deployment processes.
• Support the deployment and operation of web applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and reusable components to promote consistent engineering practices.

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on frontend development and software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js / Vue Framework. Experience with React or Angular is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, reusable component design, and responsive web development.
• Experience translating UI/UX designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, with familiarity with WCAG.
• Experience using Storybook for UI component development and documentation.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, performance optimisation, and maintainability.
• Experience implementing or managing CI/CD pipelines and frontend build and deployment processes.
• Experience developing, deploying, or operating web applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Good understanding of application security principles, with experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent research skills.

• Experience developing or supporting Singapore government sector systems.
• Familiarity with Government Instruction Manual 8 (IM8) policies and Digital Service Standards (DSS).
• Experience with security testing tools such as SonarQube and Fortify on Demand.
• Experience supporting web vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, or cloud infrastructure security assessments.
