About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Safety Auditors to conduct Food Safety Management System (FSMC), HACCP audits and ISO 22000:2018 audits across food manufacturing, food service, catering, hospitality, and related operations.

The successful candidate will assess food safety systems, identify potential hazards and non-conformities and prepare clear and professional audit reports.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct Food Safety Audits at client premises.

· Evaluate HACCP plans, hazard analysis, Critical Control Points (CCPs), critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification, and recordkeeping.

· Assess food handling, storage, hygiene, sanitation, pest control, allergen management, temperature control, traceability, and other food safety practices.

· Review compliance with applicable food safety legislation, standards, and company procedures.

· Identify and document non-conformities and areas for improvement.

· Prepare accurate and comprehensive audit reports within the required timeframe.

· Verify corrective actions and follow up on outstanding audit findings.

· Communicate audit findings professionally with clients and management.

· Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and professional conduct throughout the audit process.

· Keep up to date with HACCP principles, food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

· Participate in auditor calibration, training, and competency development activities where required.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

· Experienced in pre-requisite programmes (PRP) such as Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Hygiene Practice and Good Warehouse Practice (SS 629)

· Qualified in HACCP-based food safety management system course (eg. SS 590, SS 444 or ISO 22000)

· Qualified in Food Safety Management System (FSMC) or HACCP audits

· Formal auditor training, preferably based on ISO 22000:2018.

· Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in food safety, quality assurance, food manufacturing, food service and inspection.

· Practical experience conducting food safety audits

· Good understanding of HACCP principles and food safety management systems.

· Knowledge of applicable food safety legislation and industry requirements.

· Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.

· High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Professional, objective, and ethical approach to auditing.

· Willingness to travel to client sites where required.

Preferred Qualifications

· ISO 22000:2018Lead Auditor qualification.

· Experience with GMP, SS 590, SS 444 or ISO 22000, or other relevant food safety standards.

· Experience in third-party, second-party, or certification audits.

· Relevant professional food safety or auditing certification.
