Job Title: Family Law Associate

We are looking to hire an Associate to join a Family team whose clients are locally located. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Family team and have experience with matrimonial litigation. The role will at times be demanding and fast-paced, so you will need to be an efficient worker who can prioritise, multi-task, and remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Family lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise
• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Conduct legal research
• Attend court hearings
• Take instructions at client meetings and liaise with clients
• Attend mediation or other settlement meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 10 years PQE with experience in family law
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Analytical, organised, and able to demonstrate initiative
• Able to work as part of a dynamic team and also independently to meet deadlines
• Proficient in PC skills, e.g. Word, Excel, etc.
