About the Role

Have an IT or technology background but prefer working with people rather than spending your career coding?

We are looking for a Business Development Executive (Tech Solutions) to introduce and promote our proprietary software platform to businesses.

This role is suitable for candidates who understand technology and enjoy communicating with people, presenting solutions and developing business opportunities.

No coding is required for this position.

You will learn about our software solutions, understand customers' business needs, conduct product demonstrations and recommend suitable solutions to potential clients.

What You Will Do

• Identify and engage potential business clients, including SMEs, manufacturers, logistics providers and halal-related businesses.
• Introduce and promote the company's software solutions to prospective clients.
• Conduct online and on-site software demonstrations.
• Understand customers' operational challenges and recommend suitable digital solutions.
• Follow up with potential clients and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage leads, opportunities and sales activities through the company's CRM system.
• Prepare sales updates, reports and forecasts.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
• Work with internal product and marketing teams to share customer feedback and market insights.
• Identify opportunities for client retention and upselling.

Who We Are Looking For

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Information Systems
• Other related technology disciplines

Experience

• 1–2 years of working experience in IT support, system analysis, software sales, digital marketing or business development is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure in technology-related sales are encouraged to apply.

Technical Knowledge

Basic familiarity with any of the following would be an advantage:

• SaaS or cloud-based platforms
• CRM systems
• Software dashboards
• Digital workflows
• Reporting modules
• General software/system concepts

You do not need to be a programmer or software developer for this role.

• Good communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
