Account Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant – GL & Income Audit to support the Finance team in daily accounting operations, general ledger activities, and revenue auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily income audit and reconciliation of hotel revenue from Rooms, F&B, and other departments.
• Verify daily revenue reports, postings, payments, discounts, rebates, and adjustments.
• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining General Ledger records.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly supported and recorded accurately.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Coordinate with other departments to clarify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Perform other Finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous hotel Finance or accounting experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of General Ledger and Income Audit processes.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
