Key responsibilities
Supervised daily CNC machining operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Managed a team of CNC operators, setters, and technicians.
Ensured compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Conducted first-off inspections and resolved machining quality issues.
Investigated NCRs and implemented corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinated machine maintenance, tooling management, and production planning.
Optimized machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
Worked closely with Engineering, QA, and Production departments to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepared production reports, manpower planning, and machine utilization records.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior/management from time to time.
Job requirements
Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 year of working experience in a manufacturing line, preferably in plastics or semiconductors
5.5 days' working week and must be able to support overtime
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate employees
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a high mixed, low volume production environment
Team player with a "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn new skill sets

Our manufacturing processes include plastic thermoforming (vacuum forming, pressure forming and drape forming), fabrication, hot gas welding, fusion and diffusion bonding, contamination free and high precision CNC machining (2-5 Axis), and chemical delivery system assembly.
