The Staff Nurse or Caregiver is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with individualized care plans.

Nurse role includes clinical assessments, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with other team members. Nurses ensure that all care provided meets professional, legal, and ethical standards.

Caregivers are expected to follow care plans, report observations promptly to nurses, and ensure all care activities comply with the centre’s policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s health conditions and needs.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in residents' physical or mental health to appropriate personnel or physicians.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and ensure documentation complies with medical and legal requirements.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance, disease management, and treatment compliance.
• Respond to medical emergencies, and follow established emergency protocols.
• Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure cohesive care delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. (If Nurse)
• Prior experience in a hospital, elder care, or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and observational skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and commitment to elder care.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
